FAQ

ISO 37001: frequently asked questions

ISO 37001 certification demonstrates that your organization has taken reasonable steps to prevent bribery. While it does not provide absolute legal immunity, it serves as evidence of due diligence.
Yes, ISO 37001 includes requirements for managing gifts, hospitality, donations, and similar benefits that could be used as bribes. Organizations need clear policies and controls for these areas.
Certificates are issued by an independent certification body after its own stage 1 and stage 2 audits. Certsure Certification is a consultancy: we prepare your organisation — gap analysis, documentation, training, internal audit and audit support — and coordinate with an accredited certification body. You can verify accredited certificates on IAF CertSearch.
Accredited management system certificates are normally valid for three years, with surveillance audits by the certification body at least once a year and a recertification audit before expiry.
Cost depends mainly on the number of employees and sites, the scope and complexity of your activities, how much of the system already exists, and the certification body's audit days. Contact us with these details for a written quotation — we do not quote a single fixed price for every organisation.
